Our Mission:

Solar Sonoma County (SSC), a program of the Center for Climate Protection, is Sonoma County’s trusted nonprofit solar resource. Our mission is to increase local renewable energy generation and decrease greenhouse gas emissions, and we achieve this mission through our two programs: Clean Energy Advocate and Qualified Vendor.
SSC offers a free service to help people navigate the many solar options, guiding them to determine if solar is right for their residence or business.

"We are the first generation to feel the sting of climate change and the last to be able to do anything about it."
-Washington Governor Jay Inslee
