About the Qualified Contractor's Program

The purpose of the Solar Sonoma County’s Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is to provide Sonoma County property owners with a consolidated list of solar contractors who meet certain eligibility requirements for delivering high quality solar power installations and energy efficiency retrofitting services.

Our solar power program has been designed to support countywide programs such as The Clean Energy Advocate, Energy Upgrade California, and Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SCEIP).

Qualifications

All of our listed vendors are required to meet these solar power qualifying conditions:

1. Become an active Solar Sonoma County Member
2. Complete a minimum of 4 solar energy projects in Sonoma County within the last 6 months
3. Provide proof of liability insurance and current Contractor State License
4. Sign Qualified Assurance Program for Vetted Vendors contract
5. Provide 3 references for completed solar power installations that are to be followed up on by Solar Sonoma County

Qualified Installers

Requirements For Vendors Interested in Participating in the Quality Assurance Program:

• Vendors must hold a Solar Sonoma County membership level of $1,000 or higher ($500 for Energy Efficiency contractors).

• Complete the Quality Assurance Program for Contractors document (available HERE)

• Return the completed form to: membershipdocuments@solarsonomacounty.org
